Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care

Learners have the opportunity to take a general qualification in health and social care, or they may follow specialist pathways in dementia care or learning disabilities.

It gives learners the opportunity to
● Develop and demonstrate competence in areas of Health and Social Care
● Develop technical skills and knowledge and understanding related to the specified job roles in the
Health and Social Care sector
● Have existing skills recognised
● Achieve a nationally-recognised Level 2 qualification
● Develop their own personal growth and engagement in learning.

Entry Requirement: Level 1 English
No prior knowledge, understanding, skills or qualifications are required before learners register for this qualification.
Approved age ranges 16-18 or 19+

Progression:
Learners who achieve Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF) can progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF).
